about the site/layout

The current layout featuring an abandoned playground was made by yours truly in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 4.
I use Mozilla Firefox and 1280x1024 screen resolution, but most browsers and resolutions work fine. And, yes, I am aware that it's a bit big for 800x600, and any reviewers are probably going to tell me that making it more viewable in 800x600 will "reach more visitors," but I'm sorry, I really, really don't like 800x600, and very, very few people even use it anymore. And it's not that hard to scroll down a little bit. Change or deal. :) I use trebuchet ms font, but if you don't have that, the text should show up in arial or something like it. I can't remember what I put in my stylesheet at the moment.
I signed up for a free Geocities website on August 22, 2002, and coded a very simple, non-matching frames layout. My only previous HTML experience was on the Neopets pet pages. The frames layout stayed up, with slight changes in some colours in places as the seasons changed, for about a year. That was when I got a crappy review on the site and decided to learn iframes. So, to make a long story short, I've gone through several layouts - all iframes, all html, nothing fancy or remarkably striking - and now it's this.
On May 25, 2005, I moved in to hybrid-perfection.com, hosted by Mitchell. After being at Geocities for two-and-a-half years, this was a significant change for me. In October 2005, hybrid-perfection.com mysteriously stopped working, so I moved into yyguy.com, which was my dad's website that he let me use. Because of issues with the host that my dad got tired of dealing with, that url closed around March 2007. I took pretty much a complete hiatus from keeping up this site, since school was getting really busy about then, so I just didn't have the time. So here it is, August 2007, and I finally got inspiration for a new little layout and decided to come back to a free Geocities account again. And if you're still reading this, you're very special. Yay you.
That's all, I think. :)
